3.Try and remove the droppings placing them in a garbage bag. If you are on a roof or ledge its better not to just wash them off the side as you may end up cleaning them again on a lower level.
4.Finally, if you choose use a disinfectant to remove any smell that remains from the droppings.

If you have a continuous problem with droppings the best thing to do is get rid of the birds but do so humanely. In most cases putting special spikes on ledges is all thats needed to ward them off.
